Personal Warranty

Warranty Policy – Everest Plunge

At Everest Plunge, we stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to ensuring your experience with our saunas and ice baths is a positive one. Please read below for full warranty details.

Important Usage Warnings

It is the responsibility of the product owner to regularly inspect all internal components, including pump systems, barrel unions, and UV systems. These checks should be carried out alongside proper water chemistry maintenance, as outlined in our owner's manuals. Failure to follow these maintenance guidelines may result in damage and will void the warranty.

The use of unapproved or third-party chemicals, including products not sold or endorsed by Everest Plunge or our authorised suppliers, may also void your warranty.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under New Zealand law, Everest Plunge and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of business, revenue, data, or personal injury, regardless of how such damages arise.

If any Everest Plunge products are purchased for business or commercial use, the protections outlined under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 will not apply.

Everest Plunge does not take responsibility for ensuring compliance with local council requirements, including building consents, resource consents, or fencing regulations. Any information we provide is general in nature and not tailored to specific site conditions or regional laws. It is the buyer’s responsibility to confirm all compliance requirements with their local authorities. Everest Plunge will not be held liable for any associated costs, including installation changes, site alterations, removal or re-delivery fees, or labour charges resulting from non-compliance or warranty claims.

Warranty Limitations & Claims

  • Non-Transferable:
All Everest Plunge warranties apply only to the original purchaser and are non-transferable.

  • Modifications:
Any alterations or modifications to the product from its original form will void the warranty.

  • Warranty Scope:
This is the only warranty offered by Everest Plunge. No additional verbal or implied warranties apply.

  • Product Replacement:
In rare cases where product replacement is required:

    • The same model will be provided, subject to availability and updated specifications.

    • If the original model is no longer available, a store credit equal to the original purchase price will be issued.

  • Wood Structure: 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

  • Not Covered:

    • Damage caused by improper installation or electrical setup (e.g. incorrect RCD protection).

    • Warping, cracking, or splitting from sun exposure, lack of cover, or natural timber changes.

    • Damage during transport after assembly.

Ice Bath Warranty

Tubs

  • Structure: 1-year structural warranty

  • Main Body of the Ice Bath Tub:
The structural warranty only applies to issues related to tub leakage. Cosmetic imperfections or surface wear are not covered under this warranty.

  • Wood Components:
Wood is not covered under warranty. As wood is a natural material, its condition depends heavily on how it’s used and maintained. Prolonged exposure to sunlight, rain, or moisture—especially without proper sealing—can lead to color changes, warping, or mold growth. These effects are not considered product faults and are not covered under warranty.

  • Wood Maintenance Responsibility:
To preserve the wood's quality and appearance, customers are responsible for regular maintenance, such as applying wood wax oil or similar protective treatments. Failure to maintain the wood may result in premature aging or damage.

  • Tub Cover Warranty:

    • Standard (non-wood) Covers: Covered under warranty for 1 month from the date of delivery.

    • Wooden Covers: Not covered under warranty. Due to their construction (often spliced), wooden covers may experience cracking or splitting if exposed to dry outdoor environments. These are natural characteristics of wood and not considered defects.

Cooling Systems

  • EP1 Cooling System: 1-year manufacturer’s warranty

  • EPX DualFlow Cooling System: 2-year manufacturer’s warranty

5-year warranty on the compressor

  2. Maintain proper water chemistry at all times. Chlorine is not permitted to be used with our cooling systems.

  3. Use OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts and filters.

  4. Avoid exposing the system to sand, debris, or other contaminants.
